Annoyed With Itchy Mosquito Bites? Sweep Your Kitchen Because the Cure Could be Just Right There!


Enjoying the summer evenings is very hard because of the annoying mosquito bites. Mosquitoes will always find a way to your skin, regardless of all prevention. The bites of these insects can cause itching, tingling and swelling. Do not scratch the bite area because it may itch and swell even more.


There are several natural remedies that you probably have in your kitchen that can help you with the mosquito bites and they are great for all ages including children.

Garlic – On the stung portion, put a little bit of fresh garlic, hold it there for a few minutes until the itching stops, then wash the area with water.

Toothpaste – Apply little toothpaste on the affected area and keep it there until it completely dries out, then wash with water. Peppermint in toothpaste cools the skin.

Vinegar – The best one to use is apple cider vinegar. Soak a cotton wool in vinegar and put it in place of the bite. After a few minutes you will feel relief.

Lemon – On the place of the bite squeeze a little lemon or lime juice. This way you will prevent the feeling of itching and tingling. Also you can rub zest on the sting area – the result will be the same.

Honey – Onto the affected area apply a little bit of honey. Honey prevents infection and reduces itching and tingling feeling.

Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera is excellent when it comes to reduction of symptoms of insect bites and the plant possesses many medicinal properties. Put a little gel or leaf on place of the sting. It will not only reduce the itching, but it will also accelerate the healing process of the skin.
