Even the designer of shoes, bags, and mobile phones are being faked now in the market. Sad to say not only these commodities are being counterfeit as well as a local pharmaceutical company like UNILAB.
Fake medicines were already spreading in many different drugstores and pharmacies not only in the Philippines but also around the world. The authorities are already doing their best to stop the spreading of these fake medicines that can cause false and negative effects to our health.
Philnews stated that faked medicines may contain inappropriate ingredients that can definitely harm the human’s body. There are some counterfeit medicines that may not contain dangerous substances but it is not productive and some worst cases patients, unfortunately, die after consuming these medicines.
According to the latest post on a Facebook page named “Health and Home Ave”. its intention is to inform the people that everyone should be aware of the counterfeit version of some well-known medicine brands like “Bioflu” and “Biogesic” that are now circulating in some drugstores and pharmacies in the country.
It was clearly stated that:
“PLS SPREAD! Magingat po kayo sa pekeng gamot na kumakalat ngayon. suriin mabuti ang mga gamot na ating nabibili upang hindi mabiktima mg mga mapagsamantala. Sa halip na gumaling eh mas lalo pang makakasama sa ating kalusugan, hanggat maaari ay bumili tayo sa mga lisensyadong botika, eto po yung pagkakaiba ng mga gamot, paki SHARE nalang po samga friends and family natin”
