Research has shown that only a few drops of essential oil of cinnamon to three grams of carrot soup disable the development of pathogenic Bacillus cereus for at least 60 days.


Cinnamon Stabilizes Blood Sugar

The ability of cinnamon to normalize blood sugar levels can help people with type 2 diabetes for it makes a positive response to insulin. Just half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day, in average lowers blood sugar by 20 percent. In case of discontinuation of the regular consumption of cinnamon, the blood sugar level immediately rises.
