STUDY REVEALS! Write More and More if You Want to Ramp Up Her Desire!

Want to sweep her off her feet in 2015? Send her an email.

No, seriously. According to a new study from Indiana University, people communicate romantic thoughts better over email than they do over the phone.

Researchers asked study participants to send sweet messages to their partners over both modes of communication. When people typed their notes, they used stronger and more thoughtful language than when they called, and the senders felt more aroused afterward.

Writing may encourage you to be more romantic because it gives you time to choose your words carefully and forces you to compensate for the lack of vocal tone, says study author Alan Dennis, Ph.D. The same may apply to texts, he says.

We’re not saying you have to write her a sappy sonnet. Actually, please don’t do that. But when was the last time you emailed her about anything other than dinner plans, groceries, or who fed the dog?

Just let her know that you’re thinking of her and can’t wait to see her, suggests sex researcher Amy Muise, Ph.D., a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto

It takes all of two minutes, and it could have a major impact on your sex life. Knowing that she’s on your mind will help her feel closer to you—and those positive vibes often translate into greater sexual desire, says Muise.
